MILW 8003-8000 approaching the BN/MILW crossover at Pine Street
Title:  MILW 8003-8000 approaching the BN/MILW crossover at Pine Street
Description:  Pine Street Bellingham had 2 BN/MILW crossover diamonds within a 100 yards over each other. The most used one was the BN/MILW diamond at AMFAB as this was the southward exit of MILW trains to enter BN tracks to Everett. The other BN/MILW crossover at Pine Street went to the defunct MILW Ferry Dock.

MILW 8001-8003 going through the MILW yard
Title:  MILW 8001-8003 going through the MILW yard
Description:  MILW's answer to the Tacoma to Bellingham trains that came about after the BN merger. Yep 4-U33C's should be able to handle things nicely. The first couple years OK and after that it was whatever Tacoma had ready to offer.

MILW 8003 North
Title:  MILW 8003 North
Description:  This turned out to be the last picture of a roll of color film that has turned out to be quite a roll as it turns out. So the MILW Tacoma to Bellingham trains after the BN Merger in 1970 trains numbered 904 and 905 usually passed each other at this very same location during the we hours of the morning while I was busy at work in the BN Depot on the other side of town. So any pictures of the 904/905 trains were very hard to come by. But one thing for sure that the MILW trains of that time found ways to be real late. This shot taken of what used to be the NP Mainline to Lowell. Thinking this train is sitting on a parallel MILW track that will come together at SeaLine Jct on the BN. I was just lucky in seeing this train in the daylight.
