Description:
Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in July of 1923, this 2-8-2 Mikado style steam locomotive served in freight service with an occasional passenger revenue service as well. Unfortunately, it met the scrapper's torch in April of 1960 after nearly 37 years of service. Specs - serial #64506, class S-2-a, 63" drivers, 188.5 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 314,800 lb, tractive effort of 55,621 lb. Arthur B. Johnson photo
