Title:
PRR 5384, K-4S, c. 1952
Description:
Boulton. Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer taken at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey, c. 1952. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5384 and #3752. Both are K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics" built in Juniata. #5384 was constructed in June of 1924 and retired in March of 1953, while #3752 was built in April of 1920 and retired in April of 1958. Partially visible at the far left is the Meadows Engine House. Mr. Robert Hess identified this location correctly.
