Junk Salad
Description:
One of NJ Transit's four GP40-2s rumbles under the skylit sheds at Newark Penn Station on Track A. The 49-year old work horse was added to the lead of Train #5416 at Raritan Yard after a mechanical failure rendered the cab car inoperable. The mixed trainset is an odd one these days as much more care has gone into keeping Comet Vs all together out of Hoboken with Comet IIM and Comet IV coaches being used primarily on the Newark division.
