Description:
Another faceoff between diesel and steam involving an early Fairbanks-Morse switcher and a traditional Lima built Mikado. Unfortunately the Mikado lost - scrapped just 6 years later while the diesel lasted until 1973. Photographer C. W. Burns notes on back " A NKP 900 series 2-8-2 approaches from the yard. #954".
