Description:
Another photo taken by Ralph G. Dunn but unfortunately no informaiton was given on the back of the photo. Date and location have been arbitrarily assigned. In later rosters, this number was assigned to an F7A, one of the diesels that helped seal the fate of the steam locomotives.

BO 2-8-2 #4605 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:
A note on the back of the photo states "Shot of the day - - - B&O 2-8-2's #4605 and 4603 blast into Connellsville with an Eastbound drag from Pittsburgh." Nice double-header photo. Built by Baldwin in January of 1923, the loco served well until it was finally retired in March of 1957 at the Mt Clare Yard in Baltimore, MD. Specs - Q-4b class, 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 26x32" cylinders, engine wt of 327,400 lb, tractive effort of 63,200 lb. An unknown photogrpaher took the photo but no exact day in August of 1956 was given.
