Title:  Rear of N&W mallet train
Description:  A note on the photo states "Rear of trn of N&W mallet, Chilli., OH, 1955." A typical N&W caboose rides the end of the coal train behind one of the mallets in this album. Unfortunately with the poor quality 35mm homemade contact print, it's not possible to accurately identify the car or caboose number but it's bringing up the rear of this album like it used to in the train!

Description:  Central Railroad of New Jersey Communipaw, NJ October 1970 (f After hours of research, I've positively identified this is CNJ Communipaw Yard. Also, this photo and the adjoining image were clearly taken from an elevation overlooking the yard. This would correspond to Bay View Avenue overpass. That structure with the five roll up doors still exists to this day, however where the train is, is now marsh.
