Aaron Sucharzewski	General	Some more info on a potential date, if you observe the light atop the cab, you will notice it is a Prime PM-8901 “Stratolite”, which the BN used extensively. When 9924 was rebuilt from a standard E9 to an E9AM, it received a Stratolite, and based on photographs, the Stratolite was replaced with a Federal Signal 372 rotary beacon between January and June 1981. So that dates the photo to pre-June 1981. What else can we look at? Well, the red marker light below the headlight was not part of the rebuild process. It was not added until later. If we look at more photographs, the last picture of 9924 without the marker appears to be July 22nd, 1978. The next picture of 9924 is on August 1st of ‘79. So this picture was taken on or after July 22nd, 1978, and before August 1st of ‘79.	4/4/2024 8:30:48 PM
