This 2-8-0 Consolidation type steam locomotive was built by Baldwin in August of 1910. In September of 1928, its pilot was replaced by foot boards as seen in this photo. There is some discrepancy in when it was scrapped. The Baldwin records show scrapping in December of 1936 but this photo by Max Miller is dated 9/7/1943. Specs - serial #35155, class H-7, 60" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine weight of 222,000 lb, tractive effort of 48,960 lb. |
