MILW 4-6-0 #1109 - MIlwaukee Road         
This 4-6-0 ten wheeler led a long and productive life. Originally built as Chicago, Milwaukee & St Paul Vauclain compound 4-6-0 319, it was renumbered many times - in 10/1906 tp CMStP #1619, renumbered in 11/1912 to CMStP #4219. simplified & renumbered in 3/1927 to CMStP #2771, and finally renumbered in 6/1938 to CMStP&P #1109. The loco was scrapped in January of 1951 after nearly 50 years of service. Simplfied specs - 69" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x26" cylinders, engine wt of 187,600 lb, tractive effort of 31,004 lb and superheated. No photographer was listed for the photo and no exact day in 1947 was given.
