Wood. Here is an image of a photo by Don Wood that was taken in South Amboy, New Jersey, in 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1453, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in September of 1956 after 39 years of faithful service. In this context, it's awaiting its next passenger run to Bay Head Junction. Edward Kaspriske Collection.
