| Built by EMD on 7/15/1948 (serial #6152) at the La Grange, IL plant, this E7 unit seen here near the Tampa Union Station served the Seaboard Air Line well. To distinguish it from earlier E units, E7's and later models were nicknamed "bulldog nose" units rather than the "shovel nose" earlier models. Eventually the 2000 hp loco became SCL #569. Milwea M.
