The Vancouver Amtrak station bustles with activity on a sunny June Thursday. As BNSF 2674 idles next to the west side platform, 2236 drills the south end of the Vancouver yard. The dispatcher has their hands full, shuffling the yard job between two grain trains and an Amtrak Cascades train, all due to pass throug the junction in a span of 50 minutes. |
