Will Martin General It is one of six ex EL SDP45, freight version, locos that MK used for SP's SD40M-2s. The EL SDP45s have a "common" pointed rear, as they never carried steam generators. Extra fuel capacity was the reason EL got these units. I believe none of SP's SDPs survive. 11/29/2006 5:40:27 AM
