| Mann. Here is an original 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Elizabethport, New Jersey, c. June 1983. Shown here (R to L) are ex-Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4877 and nine more locomotives whose road numbers are not recorded. All are GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electrics rated at 4,620 horsepower each. Engine #4877 was built in Juniata during January of 1939 and is presently on display at the United Railway Historical Society in Boonton, New Jersey. ("PrrFan18n") |
