Before returning to the Welland Engine yard, the locomotive must reverse at the Feeder Road yard, before 'backing' into the yard. If you didn't have a map or GPS, following the trains around here would be nuts. Most of the tracks cross vehicle roadways at odd angles and on curves, and don't follow any sort of linear, or even predictable, grid. Even with maps, it still took me quite a while to get the rhythm of the Trillium train movements around here. |
