Portraits 6. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via F.R. Kern. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #23, a K-2S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata as a K-2 during July of 1910, later rebuilt as a K-2S, and retired in November of 1947 after 37 years of faithful service. The exact date and the location are not recorded. (#21 of 43)
