| Here is one of only two 4-6-4 Hudsons that Maine Central ever owned. Built by Baldin in May of 1930, it lasted until 1955 with the last years seeing duties at the Portland Terminal Company. Its sister, #701 was retired in 1950. Specs - Serial #61371, class D, 73" drivers, impressive 240 psi boiler pressure, 23x28" cylinders, engine weight of 312,590 lb, tractive effort of 41,392 lb.
