| Illinois Central 2-8-2 1237 was on a southbound 15-car train about to pull into MAYS YARDS, just west of New Orleans, and the two baggage cars on the head-end were a curious sight. The 1237 had been built by Lima (5043) in April 1915 as the 1739, was renumbered 1237 in October 1942 and was scrapped in 1955. |
