CRIP 0-6-0 #252 - Rock Island  Contributor's Pick!
Long before a U28 diesel wore the Rock Island number 252, this plucky little switcher had the honor. Built by Alco-Richmond in 1913, the little tyke has more pipes, ropes, tubing, and bumps to its boiler than something twice as big! No exact date was give. Photo stamp on back - Robert Graham.
