Most commuter lines tend to be heavy one way in the morning, the other in the afternoon. Such was not the case by the late 70s on the New Haven Line. Enough places had relocated to Fairfield County that ridership was pretty good in both directions most of the day. Its mid afternoon, and a good crowd is waiting for the New Haven bound train. |
