| Normally eastbound freights out of West Colton had manned helpers added at Loma Linda, a few miles outside the yard. But today is different. On loan from BN are several SD40-2s and RCC units for mid train loco control. SP 8757 is part of an unmanned helper set heading east out of West Colton. No need to stop in Loma Linda today...just a straight shot over Beaumont Pass. |
