There was a road crossing at Little Neck at the west end of the station, where Little Neck Parkway intersected the tracks. Trains would stop just clear of the crossing, allowing the gates to go up. This was the relay case for the crossing gates, in between the rails. A Great Neck bound train of M 1s moves away in the distance. |
