| NJT 4334, a former Southern E 8, sits at the Susquehanna Valley RHS display on the set out tracks at the Binghamton DLW station. The original plan was to restore the unit to Erie or EL paint, with the hope of eventually getting it into running condition. As happens all too often, funding and available hands fell short. The engine was eventually moved to Elmira, but not til after the new ballfield was built on the site of the DLW freight house, leaving the equipment on the set out tracks land locked. Panel track had to be laid to get everything out. |
