White flags  Contributor's Pick!       
This early morning eastbound has white flags flying, indicating and extra train as it rolls out of the sun with 88 cars behind three big Ms. It was Canadian Pacific practice to run freights as extras, even if they had a schedule. As such, they flew white flags, a practice that had largely ended in the US.
