| This FA has been pushed off into exile, where the dead power winds up. Dont know if this unit ever ran again-it looks like it had a fire. There were a few that disappeared for a while-sometimes months-only to show up again later. By this time, all four of the ex MILW and B&O F units were running, and the more marginal FAs were going into storage. The completion of the electrification to Ronkonkoma would spell the end for a number of these classics in a few months. |
