| A string of vintage RDG MU's curve behind a New Hope & Ivyland steam tender, with combine 799 first in line. Conrail operated the MU's for almost a year over Septa's former Reading Philadelphia Division with their home base at Wayne Junction. A number of the Harlan & Hollingsworth 1931-built RDG MU's were purchased by the New Hope and Ivyland RR, and had recently arrived at their New Hope, PA home in April, 1977. |
