How did you get this one? Did they let you in the place?

This is an excellent example of how some "railfans" ruin it for the rest of us. There are SEVERAL "No Tresspassing" signs that say "NO RAILFANS PERMITTED". This is not a joke or a hoax. Besides those signs, posted at EVERY entrance, there's also razor wire on top of the fences. Also, those are EQUALIZERS, not truck frames. Now, tell me, Mr. St. Louis' most famous railfan, when you were making your daring escape, did you back into any vehicles? Before someone offers the telephoto copout, there is a THICK line of brush and trees between this track and the school yard.

Glad you pointed this out, Chuck. The place is not railfan friendly. Basically, the dude trespassed to get the shot, which he is quite known for. And yes, that kind of stuff ruins it for everyone.

I usually either ask permission to come on any private property or I say, "Well d*mn, I'll go home." and look at it from the road. I know a couple people, mainly you and Mike who need to get a f***ing clue before you ruin that fact that some of us in this hobby are still received with respect, and signs aren't posted for people like you specifically, like "NO RAILFANS PERMITTED".
