Racks west  Contributor's Pick!
Conrail did a decent automotive business, and rack trains were often seen. They had a big unloading facility near Selkirk, and another one for the NY metro area at Doremus Av in Newark, adjacent to Oak Island. One of the Doremus Av trains rolls west through the ex NYC station at Utica behind a relatively new SD40-2, and an ancient SD 40.
