4012 rolls east  Contributor's Pick!
The mid day weekend Montauk train was 4012. Saturdays train was nothing special, but Sundays moved the parlors that would bring the weekenders home back to Montauk after servicing in Jamaica, and was usually a long train, 12-14 cars, and got a pair of GP 38s. Here it is rolling through the east end of Queens interlocking and past Bellerose station.
