| A CIT Group SD60 in fresh paint punctuates the rear of a BNSF manifest train heading to Alliance Yard in Haslet. Delivered to Soo Line as 6004 in August 1987 and released in 2007 by Canadian Pacific at the expiration of it's 20 year lease. CIT Group then leased this diesel to Indiana Railroad as INRD 6004 operating in patched Soo Line red and white until being returned again to CIT Group in late 2010. Now in the CIT Group lease fleet this SD60 still operates with the Soo Line assigned road number but in a fresh coat of blue and white. Note the Norfolk Southern style black and white model decal below the 4 on the cab (applied during repainting at Juniata) and the Soo Line ordered winterization hatch. |
