LIRR H16-44 #1504  Contributor's Pick!       
Running on this blustery winter day is the Fairbanks-Morse unit built in 1951. It is wearing the "Goodfellow colors"- gray body & orange ends and pilot - which were applied starting in 1955 through 1959. Date is approximate. No photographer was listed for this photo but could be a John Krause photo. With Mike Woodruff's help (see comment below), the locaiton has been identified as on the Montauk branch at Glendale, NY.
