THIS UNIT NOW RESIDES IN AUSTRALIA OPERATING FOR BHP IRON ORE AND WAS FIRST SOLD TO GEC SAN POTOSI MEXICO AND OPERATED FOR A WHILE IN AS GECX 3093 , AFTER BEING SOLD TO BHP IN JULY 2004 AND WAS IN SERVICE WITH THAT RAILROAD IN AUGUST 2004 AND WAS IN DM&E COLORS AND HAS NOW BEEN SLIGHTLY MODIFIED AS AIR CONDIONING HAS BEEN FITTED ON THE SPACE BEHIND THE CAB (IT IS A CONSTANT 110 DEG HEAT AND 98% HUMIDITY THERE) AND HAS THE FAN SHROUDS CUT DOWN TO ALOW IT TO FIT UNDER 15'5" ORE DUMPER AND THIS UNIT IS MAINLY USED FOR SWITCHING BLOCKS OF IRON ORE CARS AND YARD WORK AND SOME TIMES IN HELPER SEVICE FROM THE MINE TO PORT OF HEADLAND IN THE NORTH OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA, CHEERS DEREK, OH AWESOME SHOT STEVE!
