NH EF-1 #092 - New York, New Haven & Hartford RR  Contributor's Pick!       
Built by a partnership between Baldwin and Westinghouse, this electric locomotive was delivered to the New York, New Haven & Hartford RR in September of /1912 (builder #38322). This class of electric boxcabs were intended for freight service with no train heating generators or third rail D.C. equipment used for passenger routes. "092 worked the freight yards until retirement in July of 1953. No photographer listed and the actual day in March, 1935 is approximate.
