Some years ago, Trains asked "do railroad photos have to include trains??" That was the premise for a piece that featured several pages of photos that had a number of railroad items, but no trains. Here we see such an effort. This is the home signal at CP HORN, once ZY on the EL, at the east end of Hornell yard. Now, its the end of a controlled siding that extends to CASS St downtown, and also allows access to what remains of the once sprawling Hornell yard. As the sun set on EL, so it sets on this signal, lined up for a westbound CP train to take the siding.
