| I dont know if anyone has a favorite signal but M.P. 8.1 on the CP Colonie Main is and always will be my favorite signal. There is a lot of history here for me. I caught me first train here. I love this spot. The signal is a Control point or was so this signal is always lit. From the first day I ever railfanned it has been lit. When there are no trains the signal is green, yellow, red. There have been many disappointments when I visit or visited this signal having it be those colors. This signal was always on my way home so I always asked dad if we could pull off and see it. |
