| NORMAN OK June 3 1979 -- Eastbound (compass north) train 593, headed up by GP30 3203, overtakes a train led by GP38 3556. This is the siding on the north side of Norman beside U.S. 77 and the former Naval Air Station. The 3203 was built by EMD as GP30 1207 in May 1962 It became 3207 in the 1969-70 general renumbering. In Jan 1983 is was rebuilt as GP30u 2707. On March 17 2000 it became BNSF 2407. (Roster information from atsfrr.net) |
