GSMR 1755 Editors Pick!        
The GSMR Nantahala Gorge Turn heads through the Nantahala Gorge near Wesser, NC. White water rafters get a nice wave from the Conductor. This is one of two daily excursion trains which the GSMR runs. This one departs Bryson City, NC at 10:30am and heads West to Hewitt, NC where the train pulls into a siding, the locomotives run around the train and the train heads back to Bryson City.
