ARMCO B-71
The Westinghouse Hi Visibility locomotive was built in 1930 and delivered to ARMCO ( American Rolling Mills Co ) as there B-71. It is an extremely rare beast as only 4 of this type were ever built.

T.J. Gaffney General I understood this was scrapped on site and not moved, circa 1980 or so. Anyone know for sure? 6/1/2012 12:41:03 AM
Dan Rohrback General According to their Website, B-71 is currently stored at the Minnesota Transportation Museum, Jackson Street Roundhouse. 7/29/2012 1:16:11 PM
Alex Huff General Scan down and see the B71 at its presumably final home at Illinois Railway Museum. This photo was taken when the locomotive was being prepped for shipment. Note the headlight and builder's plate have been removed. Its next stop was Jonesville, MI. It was pulled off the Missaukee Junction, MI interchange by Michigan Northern which had just taken over the ex-PC, nee-GR&I line between Grand Rapids and Mackinaw City, MI on 4/1/76. 5/25/2017 4:38:32 PM
