2526 is a GP30R. unit was Wrecked in 1965 and as GP35s were still being made it was given a GP35 Carbody. this unit also went on to be painted for NS and was Retired in september 1990 and sold to Naporanos at Newark,New Jersey in 1991.

I don't know how many GP30 components it reused during rebuilding, but the rebuild was more extensive than a GP35 hood on a GP30 frame. Structurally 2526 was a late-model GP35 - new frame (straight beam with higher deck height), new fuel tank, new steps/pilot and new cab/hood.
