MDiv. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Marysville, Pennsylvania, on 28 October 1954. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9700 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. #9700 is a BF-15A built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in April of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in February of 1965 after just 15 years of revenue service. In this context, this A-B-B set is pulling a train of empty hopper cars across the Rockville Bridge on its way to Altoona and the coal mines of Western Pennsylvania. ("Stoneborobranch"; #9 of 56)
