BWCX. Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Berwind-White Railroad Car Shops in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 13 September 1967. Shown here is the Vulcan 0-4-0T steam locomotive named "Nancy." The builder's badge specifies "Vulcan Locomotive Works ~ 1918." Since its driving wheels kept coming loose from the axles, it was finally "put out to pasture" after 46 years of faithful service! |
