Former CofG GP7 seen
A former Central of Georgia GP7 is seen at the shops of the Chattahoochee Industrial Railroad which had been all ALCO prior to the arrival of this unit. The CIRR renumbered it 1830 and named it "The Best Friend" in honor of the Best Friend of Charleston which first operated in 1830 over trackage that became part of the Southern Railway System.
