| La Belle MO was on the "OK Route", the Quincy, Omaha & Kansas City RR which was bought out by the CB&Q in the 1930s. In 1939 the portion west of Milan was abandoned and everything east, to Quincy, continued as a Burlington Route branch, in parts, through 1981, when the last portion, from Kirksville, was abandoned. |
