EMD Model 40
EMD's Model 40 is an odd little spud, with almost too-simple underframe and tiny hoods overwhelmed by a standard EMD switcher cab. Only 11 were built; this is the Model 40 found at the Hoosier Valley RR Museum. It's supposed to be ex Calumet Steel and Army. Apparantly the "SAT" signifies that the museum is open Saturdays.
