PHLX 5601 2024-09-27 B
Title:  PHLX 5601 2024-09-27 B
Description:  PHLX 5601 Tractive Power TP56 “The Black Mamba” was acquired by Parrish & Heimbecker Limited in November 2014 and used at the former P&H Cloverdale site for grain car switching. She was built in November 2013 in Squamish, British Columbia from the front end of former Canadian Pacific SD40-2 locomotive CP 5805. Since the closure of the P&H facility in Cloverdale and relocation to Fraser Surrey Port, PHLX 5601 has been in storage at the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway site in Cloverdale. Southern Railway of British Columbia (SRY), who delivered to P&H in Cloverdale won’t permit her on their rails. Now for sale – when sold, she will need to be transported by truck. PHLX 5601 2024-09-27 D
Title:  PHLX 5601 2024-09-27 D
Description:  Ever since moving back to Surrey five years ago, I have been wanting to see “The Black Mamba” – now sidelined since the demolition of the Parrish & Heimbecker site in Cloverdale. I managed to catch her while I was out and about grocery shopping one morning passing through Cloverdale. (September 27, 2024)
