Title:  LV 2-8-2 #464 - Lehigh Valley
Description:  Built by Baldwin in January of 1923 (serial #56097), the loco was caught by an unknown photographer as it labored in the winter with a double-headed freight. The loco served for nearly 25 years before being scrapped in November of 1948. Specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weigh tof 326,340 lb, tractive effort of 59,014 lb, a trailing truck booster added another 11,000 lb of tractive effort. No actual date or location was given for the photo so an approximate date was used.

Description:  Heading up a mixed freight consist is Lehigh Valley 2-8-2 Mikado #431. The loco was built by Baldwin in Jantuary of 1923 (serial #56089) and served for nearly 25 years before meeting the scrapper's torch in November of 1948. Specs - N-4 class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weigh tof 326,340 lb, tractive effort of 59,014 lb. No date or photographer was listed.
