The "Yellow Kid" was painted Brewster green below the window sash, a creamlike yellow above, and the letterboard in red! Prominent here is PRR engine #174, a D-16A (4-4-0) "American" built in Juniata as a D-16 during 1895, rebuilt as a D-16A in July of 1897, and retired in February of 1918 after 23 years of faithful service. |
