Description:  BNSF's Q-STPV-J approaching Provo's 820 North Grade Crossing. A base has been sez up on the left side of the UP right-of-way as part of the I-15 reconstruction project between Salt Lake City and Spanish Fork taking right through the heart of Utah County. All this has made chasing and photographing trains in Utah Valmey a challenge even on a bicycle.

Description:  Union Pacific's West Colton-Salt Lake City Manifest crosses over the Provo River on a 1944 built suspension bridge. UP SD70M No.4510 was built in 2001 and behind it are two 1990 built C41-8W's. All three locomotives are in charge of this long 148 car train that has entered the UP Provo Subdivision at University Avenue. Coming through the UP Provo Yard off the Sharp Subdivision up from Lynndyl. The Provo River looks inviting on this hot afternoon with tempratures in the 90's.
